WOW!! We HIGHLY recommend Cool Sunshine!! We used them to remove our old HVAC system, and install a new one, including: 2 new furnaces, 1 new AC system, 1 new thermostat, and 1 new home humidifier (hooked up to 1 of the new furnaces). WOW!!! Excellent work! 5-6 guys were here on the installation day, promptly by 8:30 am. They finished around 5:00 pm. All of the guys were friendly, respectful, and great workers. They put on booties over their shoes when they came inside the house. They put drop cloths down on the floors where ever they walked. They explained things as they went too. Joy, the representative who came out to the house first, and gave us our quote, was extremely knowledgeable. We were impressed with her. Would we use them again, YES!!!! Do we recommend them, YES!!! We will probably use them once a year too, to check the system, and make sure everything is in working order. The house's heating and cooling (and the humidity levels) are all now working on an even basis. YES! Money well spent! WOW!!! Cool Sunshine is the one to choose for your HVAC system. THANKS COOL SUNSHINE!!!

This company is awesome— the people are honest, trustworthy, professional, and do great work. After being quoted over $12,000 from a different company for an air conditioner install, I decided to shop around. Not only did Cool Sunshine quote me a drastically more reasonable price (which ended up being exactly what I paid), but during the initial visit, the technician also pointed out a number of things the first company hadn't even noticed. (This seems to confirm my suspicion that the first company was trying to take me for a bit of a ride, which is something I had been concerned about.) I am certain I got both a better price and a higher quality of work by going with Cool Sunshine.All interactions were professional and friendly, with everything explained to and discussed with me before and after the work was done. Along the way, I was presented with a number of options and cost points for the install, allowing me to customize the job to my needs and tolerances. The finished work looks great, and our giant, fluffy dog seems much happier with the summer temperatures. I would definitely recommend Cool Sunshine to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

This company knows how to prioritize family needs. In a recent blizzard our furnace went out. They quickly came over and fixed the part . While the fix worked for a few days our ancient furnace decided to take a dive and completely stop working. Cool sunshine knew it was important that our family had heat and prioritized our appointment and installed a brand new furnace the very next day. They were Curtious, fast and very clean at both appointments. I would highly suggest them

The entire team at Cool Sunshine was amazing. We had an AC going bad so we had some time to schedule the replacement. Joy gave us 2 price choices for AC replacement, both aligned to what we had discussed. The week before the scheduled install, Joy reached out to confirm the date and workorder. The team of 3 installers showed up on-time with all the right equipment. Later in the day a manager stopped by to confirm the work was done right, all setup and clean up was completed, and that I was satisfied with the work delivered. Overall a great service experience.. Amazing teamwork at good price point.

Cool sunshine did a residential AC installation for us and I can honestly say it was a great experience from start to finish! Joy and Ivy are awesome and very communicative and the installers were very professional and knowledgeable with all of my thousand questions , they also covered all the flooring from the front door all the way to the furnace area to keep the floor clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They are personable and helpful with any concerns or questions you have and the prices for the service are very reasonable. I am glad to say that I felt comfortable spending my hard earned money on a great company knowing they will take care of me the way that they have! 5 stars service for sure!

We loved this whole experience. First, the estimator, Joy, was delightful, giving us many options with no pressure sales. We were able to schedule the install within a week of ordering. HVAC is tricky as a typical consumer - you don't deal with it much and when you do it is usually because there is a problem. It can be hard to know who to trust and what to expect in terms of service and pricing.I was having furnace issues and the Cool Sunshine team was recommended to me by a friend. I am very glad I followed up on that recommendation.The technicians were professional and friendly and did a very thorough job of diagnosing the issue and took the necessary time to discuss options with me.Ultimately I needed a new furnace and Cool Sunshine was able to get it installed within a day of diagnosing the problem. Pricing was straightforward and reasonable for the products and service I received. The same technicians that had diagnosed the problem came to do the install which I think is big positive. They worked confidently and cleanly, and answered every question in a straightforward manner.The buff penguin logo is amazing as well.

We used Cool Sunshine as a second opinion for a furnace that had a crack in the heat exchanger. They were good at communication before and during the first visit. We decided to replace both our furnace and air conditioner. Since it was already getting colder and we couldn't use our old furnace, Cool Sunshine made us a priority and were able to order and install the new equipment in just a few days. Great experience with the administrative staff and the staff that came to the house.

Extremely professional, reasonably priced and punctual. We were referred to Cool Sunshine after getting 3 other quotes and Cool Sunshine came in 1st by a few hundred dollars to the second lowest bid. No sales pitch, no sitting down at the table for 1hr to sell you what they are providing. They knew what needed to be done and did not waste our time trying to up-sell. Being a homeowner who is fairly skilled in home repair, I know better than to just go with the lowest cost. I tend to look for the signs of professionalism, and also have family in various trade professions, so their opinion is factored in. Jeff, Mitchell and their crew were exactly that. Jeff and Joy responded via phone and email promptly, and completed the job in the time frame they said they would. Here's where the added value comes in... we are homeowners of almost 6 years. Our backyard has had no attention for its entire existence. I have been working non-stop in this yard. I have finally put it to a place where we are proud. (flagstone, pea gravel, etc) Where the old (and new fan) sit, is pretty close to the back gate. It had old railroad ties and was not pleasing to the eye. Sunshine not only replaced the fan but made sure to remove the railroad ties (had to for leveling purposes) and used the resources I left behind to level out the ground and make it look clean. (I unintentionally left a wheel barrel full of dirt, pea gravel and hand tools from my weekend warrior activities). So, not only did they do the job we paid them for, but they took it upon themselves to go above and beyond and complete approximately 1-2 hours of landscaping I expected to do after they left. We had no expectations for this task, but you could just see the pride they took in their work, not just functionally but aesthetically. I strongly recommend Cool Sunshine and their professional capabilities.

Extremely impressed with Cool Sunshine. As soon as you call them, Joy and Nicole are nothing but helpful. They actually listen to the problem and offer solutions unlike a lot of the larger companies in the area. If you go through with a repair, they apply the labor cost to the service. Far cheaper than the competition - they were over $150 cheaper for my repair (blower motor replacement). Will certainly do business again!! They have become my preferred HVAC service company in the Denver area!

I cannot say enough good things about Cool Sunshine. My husband and I have a house in the mountains. We needed to get our furnace replaced and could only find one local company with the availability and willingness to replace it. They quoted us a ridiculous amount and told us it would take 3 DAYS to install (with the associated 3 days worth of labor costs). After hearing this, my husband found Cool Sunshine on the internet. He left a message and the owner called him the next day. After hearing the story they were willing to make the drive since they were working on a job half way here already. They were on time, professional and left my garage and home cleaner than they found it. Oh and it only took 4 hours not 3 days and cost about half of what the other guys wanted. Cool Sunshine saved the day. Thank you so much!!

Let me tell you something.... You want quality hvac work in your house? Call Cool Sunshine. I was having issues with my ac unit in my house and other companies kept telling me my outdoor unit was bad and that it was leaking freon. Well after 4 times of having my freon "refilled" and still no change in the performance of my ac, Cool Sunshine came out and looked at my unit and told me that there was no way the other companies were actually refilling my freon. I was being dooped by the other hvac companies. Cool Sunshine came out, same day, and went thrive my entire unit and found the solution within an hour. They ACTUALLY filled my freon and now I'm sitting at a crisp 68° in my house. The workers that came were extremely polite and very professional. They showed me everything that was wrong and explained it to me in detail so that I could understand. I will not work with any other hvac company anymore except for Cool Sunshine!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

After getting some outrageous quotes from other companies on maintenance for my furnace, I got in touch with Cool Sunshine. I let them know what another company diagnosed as needing cleaned on my furnace and Sunshine gave me a general quote for the same work that was much more fair. Joy helped me get scheduled, Israel came out for the cleaning and got it done well and efficiently. He even explained why the initial quote I got for maintenance from the last company was wrong and was adding things I didn't actually need.Great customer service, fair pricing, and I'll be in touch in the spring to have them work on my A/C. Contacted Cool Sunshine based on a recommendation, asked for a few different quotes based on units and if both were replaced. I had other companies quote as well. We decided on Cool Sunshine and will never regret that choice - such a positive, professional and quality installation. We chose to have both AC and Heating replaced. While the install had a few challenges due to the 1950's ranch - the team work did not stop until complete. The install complete in a single day and the price quoted did not change - much appreciation for the communication and explanations. Follow up by Joy and the team to ensure the outcome was what I expected - and it is. They provided the proper specs for the house and listened to what we desired for an outcome. Cool Sunshine also manged the warranty registration for us and all rebates - again less paperwork and effort on our part - customer service is their A game.

I'm the type of person that does EXTENSIVE research before making a big investment such as a new HVAC system. I spent over a month just doing research on brands and companies and agonized over the final decision. I ultimately selected Trane and Cool Sunshine after obtaining multiple quotes from different companies. I'm so glad I did! The team from the very start was professional and I had my bottom line price on the first day (something I wasn't always able to get from other companies). Joy was very pleasant and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She was extremely accessible and phoned me back within 10 minutes each time I called with more questions when I didn't get her on the first call. The installation went without a hitch. The crew took great care in protecting my home while moving equipment in and out and the clean up was nothing short of immaculate when they were through. They took the time to make sure everything was functioning properly and made the necessary tweaks to the system to fit my individual needs. If you are considering a new HVAC system for your home, I cannot see how you can possibly go wrong with Cool Sunshine.

Just had my furnace and AC replaced by Cool Sunshine. I couldn't be more pleased. My HVAC is challenged due to a very poor duct design. Prior installations had just installed over sized equipment to compensate. The folks at Cool Sunshine , Jeff in particular, spent a lot of time thinking of ways to enhance and optimize and match equipment. Cool Sunshine showed up on the agreed upon time at the appointed hour like they said they would. A one day install was beyond my expectations. The guys were great, Israel, Aldo and Mitchell. In the morning, we discovered our furnace wasn't working properly and our home was 53 degrees. Our contractor set up Jeff from Cool Sunshine to come assess the situation. Jeff showed up on time, was professional and friendly and fixed the situation within 15 minutes. He left the area where he worked clean and you couldn't tell he was even there. I called many places to have my A/C and furnace replaced when I called cool sunshine they sent their tech immediately and Israel (tech) was very quick,clean, and made sure we Understood and agreed what needed to be done. I definitely recommend this company and technicians. Very excellent service

I’ve had them working with my AC/Heat now for 5 years (twice a year) and they have always done a great job with attention to details, and technicians are friendly and really seem to enjoy their work. Given my location from their offices I believe the pricing is fair and competitive.

Gotta go five!With yet another blazing hot Denver summer, I decided to look into whole-house AC. I interviewed and quoted five Trane and Lennox outfits. I chose to go with family-run, Cool Sunshine HVAC. Owner-operator and lead sales person, Joy made a thorough, informative pitch and presented the most thorough and best-value quote of the bunch. They got me on the schedule right away and the install was completed in little more than 1/2 a day, including a 40' electrical conduit run neatly tucked under a brick overhang. Job site was left as clean as they found it. Only draw back is that long company name! Otherwise, forget it and call Joy -- she's a joy!

We interviewed several companies to replace our aging A/C and furnace and were provided a ride range of opinions on equipment, install and cost. We decided we wanted a particular brand and efficiency of new equipment. Cool Sushine worked diligently to get us the best deal and was extremely patient with all our questions and requests. They were prompt with the install, worked professionally, kept us informed of the install progress and cleaned up after the install beautifully. It was a very positive experience and we highly recommend them for Hvac replacement.

I read all the reviews of Cool Sunshine as well as their competitors that I was considering. I ultimately chose Cool Sunshine because their cost estimate for identical equipment and installation nuances as estimated by all competitors was essentially tied for the lowest, and they could adjust their schedule to get us done weeks before the competition. There were a couple review complaints from two from 2 or 3 years ago about Cool Sunshine not being responsive to calls. That was not my experience at all. In fact the office manager, Joy, was in contact with me while she was traveling and responding to some email questions while at the airport between flights late on a Friday. You don’t get much more responsive than that. So, whatever was going on a few years ago is not happening now.I had already had several competitors come out and calculate the heat load of the house and duct sizing and supply vents and return air to determine equipment size and any system adjustments to be made to have the home function as best as possible with the new system. The 22 year old system that failed never really cooled the house very well. We have a 2 story house with basement. From these other estimates I already knew what equipment I wanted and what adjustments I wanted in the ducting. Cool Sunshine did not do a load calculation, but rather estimated the load based upon experience. Of course they have the technicians to do a technical measuring and calculation, but I didn’t need it since after 3 prior companies doing their evaluations all said the same thing, I was confident.I am pretty experienced in all things construction and HVAC, having gutted and renovated my basement, kitchen, and 3 bathrooms all needing electrical, plumbing and HVAC work and me doing it all myself according building codes and all under permit passing inspection. I have replaced my furnace controller board, blower fan, motor, start capacitor, thermostat, and even the start cap for the outside condenser fan. Remember it was a 22 year old A/C system and needed repairs over the years that I did myself. I do all the work myself because I don’t trust “professionals” to take the time to do quality work like it is their own house. I’m always disappointed, and a bit angry that I paid so much labor for a crappy job.So as I watched all the work done to install my new system, I was really happy that Cool Sunshine was accommodating to my specific needs and expectations. They even appreciated the few tips I gave them to work through issues (no retrofit install is ever without issues that need creative solutions). When I wasn’t entirely satisfied with an aspect of the install, they came out and resolved it. After doing all my own work, I’m pretty picky about certain things that the average homeowner probably wouldn’t care about. Cool Sunshine made sure I was completely satisfied. That’s why I give them 5 stars.Now for the really good news. Our install was in the beginning of July. It was a 16 seer single stage compressor, with a 80% efficient 2 stage gas furnace with variable speed motor. I kept the same Honeywell WiFi thermostat I had been using for the past couple years. Our electric bill for July into August was 33% lower than the prior year while the average temperature was 0.2 degrees warmer this year. My Honeywell report showed the AC ran 61% of the time compared to the prior year for that monthly period. Most important is that it was able to maintain the set point temperatures. The best the old system could do is keep it 10 degrees below outside temperature. I even purposely tested the new Trane system by waiting until a forecast 100 degree high day and set it to maintain 68 degrees for the whole day, just to see if it could do it. It did!! All day long, and with us going in and out of the house. Amazing! So that alone is worth it, but lower electric bills, a quieter fan, and a very neat and tidy install all are just icing on the cake.They earned every one of those 5 stars in this rating. I hope this helps you feel safe in making your decision.

“We purchased a furnace and air conditioner from Cool Sunshine in Oct. of 2020. They were very professional and were able to complete the installation quickly. We started using the air conditioner in late Spring of 2021 and discovered a problem. The Cool Sunshine folks responded quickly, found the problem and fixed it. This issue was even covered by the warranty. We ended up getting some landscaping done and had to have Cool Sunshine move the air conditioner out and then back into place. Even though this was one of their busiest times (with 90+ degree days), Cool Sunshine fit us into their schedule so we didn't have to go too long without our air conditioning. The representatives that came to do the work were courteous, knowledgeable and kind.”
